It's About Learning!
From beginning to end, pre-kindergarten and beyond 12th
grade, the Troup County Schools provide comprehensive services for
students of all ages, races and social circumstances. Developmentally
appropriate and challenging programs are the standard in district
classrooms.

The proof is in the pudding as the old saying goes. And in the case of Troup County the recipe for educational success continues to impress one and all! Citizens are rightfully proud of their educational resources including excellent public and private schools, the oldest private college in Georgia, and an outstanding technical college that provides Quick Start training for industry.
To illustrate the commitment of local citizens to support public education, Troup County has passed one bond issue and two SPLOST (Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) initiatives over the past decade amounting to $115 million. These funds are being used for new construction, renovations and to enhance technology.
